Alexander Govyadin was born on June, 6, 1977 in Kiev, Ukraine.
In 1999 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Finance of Kyiv National University of Economics (diploma in Finance and Credit).
In 1997 he began his career at the position of chief accountant of Kyiv Scientific and Production Enterprise “ARVEL”.
In 1999 he began working for BBH at the position of deputy chief accountant in Zaporizhzhya.
From 2002 till 2005 he occupied the position of national manager on financial reporting and tax planning of BBH Group in Ukraine.
From 2005 till 2006 he worked for the “Vena” company (BBH Group in Russia). During this period of his career Mr. Hovyadin participated in the “Champion” project on merger of the four companies of BBH Group in Russia within OJSC “Baltika”. Further he held the position of Chief sales and marketing controller of the “Baltika” merged company in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Since March, 2006 Mr. Hovyadin worked for BBH Group in Ukraine at the position of Chief Supervisor, and in December, 2006 he was appointed to the position of Deputy Financial Director.
Since June, 1, 2007 he was appointed to the position of Financial Director of BBH Group in Ukraine.
Alexander is often invited to participate in different financial events as a speaker. In particular, Alexander presented his report “How to Turn Efficiency into Bonuses for Employees” on the IX Annual CFO Forum, which was held in Kyiv in autumn 2010. Alexander’s report was recognized one of the best amongst all and a publication to “The Financier” magazine was prepared on its basis.
Alexander Hovyadin is an author of numerous publications in Ukrainian financial and economic editions. He belongs to the Board of the Swedish Ukrainian Business Club.
In May 2014 Alexander was appointed as a Vice President, Finance and IT at Carlsberg Ukraine.
