Quality and safety of Slavutich, Carlsberg Group products are guaranteed by ISO 22000

At the end of August Kyiv brewery "Slavutich" and Beer and Non-alcoholic Beverages Enterprise in the city of Zaporizhzhya successfully passed the certification audit of compliance with ISO 22000:2005 international standards of food safety management system.

The audit of the "Slavutich" breweries was held by the "TUV SUD" certification company. A team of the Ukrainian auditors under the supervision of a Polish observer carried out a profound analysis of the production process procedures management existing at the breweries. The experts also assessed the level of staff knowledge of management standards and norms under food safety system which ensures the control at all stages of production process, storage and products sale.

By results of the audit the conclusion was made that the HACCP system at the company breweries complies with ISO 22000:2005 and provides high quality and product safety at all stages of production.

It needs to be reminded that ISO 22000:2005 standard "Food safety systems — Requirements to all organizations in the food chain" was published by the ISO in 2005.

This is an international standard which specifies the requirements for planning, implementation, operation, maintenance and upgrading of the food safety management system which integrates all elements of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), GHP (Good Hygiene Practice) and HACC (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).

Carlsberg Group pays special attention to the safety and quality of its products. The ISO 22000 system proves that the enterprise has created all necessary conditions for stable manufacturing of safe high quality products.
