All Carlsberg Ukraine Plants Successfully Pass Quality Management, Food Safety and Environmental Protection Audits

In August 2014, Carlsberg Ukraine's plants in Kiev, Zaporozhye and Lvov successfully passed audits focused on integrated system of quality management, food safety and environmental protection. Thus, all the company's sites have again proved their compliance with international standards.

On 28-29 August, during the audit of the Kiev brewery auditors have confirmed that the company's management system is compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 "Management Systems. Requirements", ISO 14001:2004 "Environmental Management Systems. Requirements and Usage Guidelines", ISO 22000:2005 "Safety Management Systems for Food Products. Requirements for All Organisations in Manufacturing and Consumption Chain of Food Products (including HACCP system - a system for ensuring food safety recognised worldwide as the most effective) and FSSC 22000:2011 (including ISO 22000:2005 and ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 requirements). Earlier this month, the audits were successfully passed in Kiev and Lvov.

Every year Carlsberg Ukraine's plants pass independent audits, which confirm the high quality of the company's management system. This year, as part of the inspections at the plants, experts of the audit company TMS (the official representative office of TÜV SÜD, a global leader in providing inspection, advisory and certification services, in Ukraine) have again emphasised the professionalism and excellent qualifications of the employees, as well as manufacturing discipline.

The experts stressed that at all stages of production the plants effectively rely on modern methods and management tools and the latest software. The auditors noted that the integrated management systems of the company operate effectively and ensure the stability and sustainability of the production of high-quality beer brands, soft drinks and cider. This, in turn, is possible thanks to the highly qualified staff, discipline and culture of production, integrated programmes of personnel training and effective laboratory control at all stages.
